I found it fascinating that you can see actual visualization of the impingement in different motions. Also the fact that it shows where you stand compared to the population is very helpful in understanding the problem and source of the pain better. I especially appreciated it as a physical therapy student.
In my previous experiences, the physician would give a run down and explain the problem or the operation using medical images which are difficult to comprehend. Then, I would go home and watch videos to understand the process. Getting the explanations through VirtualHip slowed down the appointment and made me feel like I was really being prioritized — very "personalized care" forward. It was like an additional source of information to help you better picture and mentally prepare for the surgery.
